The Proposal

"Veux-tu m'épouser?"

Or “Will you marry me?” in French...

We're engaged! Woo hoo! Let me tell you guys the story what happened that day.

First stop was Notre Dame de Paris also known as "Notre-Dame Cathedral, is a historic Catholic Cathedral widely considered to be the one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture, it is among the largest and most well-known church buildings in the world."

Excuse our crooked heart. Lol! We are not good at this.

Next is the Paris Love Locks at Pont des Arts Bridge. Couples use a padlock and lock it to a bridge, fence, gate or similar public fixture with their names or initials on it to symbolize their unbreakable love.

And if you're wondering if we put a padlock, no we didn't.

"Montmartre is primarily known for the white-domed Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur on its summit and as a nightclub district. The other, older, church on the hill is Saint Pierre de Montmartre, which claims to be the location at which the Jesuit order of priests was founded."

Found some cute souvenirs from the village. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes if you're going to visit this area because of the cobbled streets and it is quite steep.

A dream unfolded... I can finally cross it off my list. Paris the city of lights... The city of love. My fiancé (sounds weird) popped the question on top of the Eiffel Tower. How cliche?! lol But getting engaged in the city of love, on top of the world, hey I'm not complaining at all! :) Watch the video below to see or hear how he asked.

My beautiful ring is from Fame Diamonds. They do custom designed jewelry. Check them out to see some of their lovely pieces.

So after I said "YES", we went to a sightseeing cruise of the Seine River. Funny story though... I guess I was still jet lagged, I fell asleep half way through. lol Still a very romantic experience. It gives you the overall idea of the monuments in Paris. Also a great way to give your legs a break from walking.

Paris holds a special place in my heart. Audrey Hepburn was right. Paris is always a good idea. I will definitely come back.

This trip has been the best trip of my life and it wouldn't be as amazing without the help of our friend Jayson Bachubira. Thank you so much again! If you guys are visiting Paris make sure you contact him for any transportation service you need.

And below is the video. I still get that (I can't even explain) feeling every time I watch it. Ahhh love!!! Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again on my next post. Xoxo
